Hebrew Four in a Row is a fun, partner based game for students just beginning their Hebrew literacy journeys. It comes with four leveled practice boards with words and sounds targeting the kamatz, patach, and chataf patach vowels. With over 160 practice words combined, students have plenty of opportunities to master their decoding skills through play.
You’ll also receive a helpful student handout that categorizes the shared vowel-sound rule as the “Ah Vowel Family.” Activities like matching and color-by-vowel exercises assist learners with becoming more efficient and confident with identifying and decoding this vowel set.
How to Play
Each pair of players needs one game board and two different colored pencils. Players take turns reading and marking the circles on the board. The first player to mark four in a row in any direction wins the round.
