Israel Passport Project: Cities, Landmarks, and Keepsake Activity
This interactive passport template takes students on a journey through some of Israel’s most famous cities and destinations as they complete their own passport, including Tel Aviv, the Carmel Market, Jerusalem, the Western Wall, the Negev Desert, Masada, the Dead Sea, Eilat, and the Red Sea.
What’s Included
Passport TemplateThe sixteen-page passport booklet begins with a cover page, a personal information section, and a student-friendly map of Israel that helps guide the experience.
Each destination has its own dedicated page so students can focus on one location at a time while responding to creative prompts, such as creating Instagram-style posts and writing a personal prayer note for the Western Wall.
The journey concludes with a reflection page, where students write an email to a friend about their favorite destination, helping them process their learning and express it in a clear, personal way.
Information Guides for Cities and Destinations
Eight informational handouts give students the information they need to complete the passport prompts.
Bonus Travel Props
Mock boarding passes and passport stamps carry the travel theme throughout the lesson and add an optional interactive layer to the activity.
Once complete, the passport becomes a keepsake that highlights what students have learned. Teachers can also showcase completed passports on a classroom bulletin board.
Two fun styles of the passport template are included!
Assembly is simple: just print and fold. No cutting or glue required.
