Alef-Bet Fly Trap is a simple, low-prep, partner-based Hebrew learning game that helps students strengthen their decoding skills. How to Play

Both players need a copy of the sheet, a pencil, and a die to share. No dice? No problem! Use the printable template provided!

Players take turns rolling the die and shading in the corresponding boxes. For example, if a player rolls five, they will shade in one Final Chaf. Rolling a six allows the player to shade any box of their choice. The first to shade in the eight boxes surrounding any fly wins the game.
