Do your students confuse bet with kaf, or mistake a dalet for a resh? These similar-looking letters can be tricky to tell apart when students are first learning the Hebrew Alef-Bet.
 
Alef-Bet Troll Trap is a fun partner game where students will practice spotting the differences between look-alike Hebrew letters. Each board focuses on a small set of similar letters, giving beginners targeted practice through play.
 
On each turn, players roll a die, search the board for the matching letter, and mark it with a pencil or chip. When similar letters are placed side by side, students naturally focus on the small details as they play, building stronger recognition of each letter. Across three game boards, students will learn to identify Alef-Bet letters that look alike but differ by a small detail, such as a dot, a rounded or square corner, or a short gap in a line.

How to Play
Each player needs a game sheet, a pencil, and one die to share. Players take turns rolling the die and shading boxes with the matching letters. The first player to shade eight boxes surrounding one character, wins.
